CoCo House Restaurant
CoCo House Restaurant is fast gaining a reputation for its modern take on delicious traditional Khmer cuisine and authentic Asian and Western food, plus a healthy selection of champagnes, wines, beers and cocktails. It’s no surprise that the quality and presentation of the dishes offered by CoCo House are of a high standard. The traditional Khmer wood architecture of the building heightens the atmosphere of authenticity, and the upstairs tables offer great views over the surrounding market activity. It’s definitely the Cambodian food that people keep coming back for and you’ll not likely find much tastier or better value for that.
Brick House
Described as an oasis in the Night Market, Brick House is a great place to relax, enjoy a few drinks and look out over the market. Along with a wide variety of beers, cocktails and deliciously fruity mocktails, the chunky bamboo furniture brings a nice bit of a tropical beach vibe to go with the good music. The tasty food served is of top restaurant quality but at good prices. The open feeling of the place makes for a friendly impression straight away. A free full-sized pool table inside and a barbeque out front, nicely rounds off the fun and sociable feel of this atmospheric little bar, located right next to Entrance B of the Angkor Night Market.
The Island Bar
The Island Bar easily stands out in Angkor Night Market, with its enormous, cone-shaped, thatched roof. Located right next to Entrance A, this makes it a perfect meeting point. Waiting on shopping friends or family can become a relaxed pleasure, as you enjoy a cold beer, or work your way through their long list of great value cocktails, or fresh and fruity mocktails and smoothies. The combination of the spectacular bamboo roof, the open-air ambience, and the friendly atmosphere can certainly make it easy to forget you’re in a market in the center of town. It feels more like a place you’d find on an exotic island beach. There’s a good selection of bar-friendly food on the menu too. So there’s a strong likelihood you’ll find you’re having so much fun you’ll want to stick around at the Island Bar, well into the night.
